"Langhe" means hills and this area is definately known for its beautiful rolling vineyard hills together with mulitcoloured woodlands and isolated old towns on hill tops that take your breath away. Here the seasons are still seasons, colours change for each one. This area is famous for its wines, truffles, cakes many made with hazel nuts or local honey. Cheeses of all types are found in the local Trattoria or Agriturismo or at the village shows that are often held in this area where you can also enjoy wines, local folklore music and traditional costumes. |
